The Glute Bridges Challenge: my results

Hi Homies!

I hope you are all well! I’m doing very well, the temperature has dropped here in Paris and it feels so good (even if I enjoyed doing my “What to Wear When.. There is a heat wave”), I can finally breathe and the sun is still here so I am happy.
Anyway, today I’m not here to talk about fashion nor weather, but about fitness. Just over a month ago, when I announced that I was starting #Glutebridgeschallenge, I promised you a feedback. I did not forget you and know that I have not skipped a day of this challenge! So, before showing you the before/after photos, I would like to give you a little recap on this challenge that makes you an amazing butt!

The Glute Bridges Challenge

The Glute Bridges Challenge is like you’re doing push-ups on the other way. Lying back to the ground, raise your knees to make a perfect angle. While staying in this position, you will lift your butt and take your back off the ground. Repeat it 100 times minimum a day to be effective!

Chloe Ting’s Glute Bridges Challenge (THE one)

To make the whole thing more interesting, I did not go on any challenge. I took part to the improved Challenge of the Sport Youtuber Chloé Ting who suggest to do it for 30 days with 7 different bridges! I’m not going to give you all the details because I’m not a professional and Chloe does it much better. Here’s her video:

As you can see, there is no time to be bored! The program was made specifically in order to not repeat the same thing every day, but also so that everyone can do it.
In addition, be aware that despite her more than 1,5 million subscribers, Chloe Ting remains very accessible: I had the chance to exchange with her on Instagram! She responds very quickly, within two days maximum in my case, and does not hesitate to give advice or develop her explanations, a real pleasure! So if you have any doubts or questions, I advise you to go ahead and ask her directly!
Regarding the challenge, I asked her if it was necessary to follow the 7 variants and to do all of them. In fact, I noticed that I did not feel much with the “Single leg glute” while the “Wide glute bridges” made me very SORE! She explained me that these variants are only to prevent from being bored of the challenge, but everyone could adapt it and work it the way that suits them best. For my part, I preferred to follow the video’s instructions so that I could show you an objective result.

My results

This is the long-awaited moment! First of all, keep in mind that this is a one-month challenge that takes about 7 minutes a day (so totally possible to do it even if you want to work out secretly)! The photos are not high quality but that was not the goal in this article. At the start of the challenge, my butt was about 88.5 cm (34.84″):

I also want to make it clear that I did not change my diet during that month. I ate the same way I usually do, following the same tips and tricks but there was nothing different. By the way, excuse me for my little belly that you can see in my picture, I took it right after enjoying my Mcdonald’s! I’ll leave you with my pictures from after, and I’ll talk about them below:

Girl body measurments
As you can see, after 1 month of “sport” that took me 7 minutes a day and barely made me sweat, my butt took almost 2cm (0,79″) to reach a turn of about 90.5cm (35,63″)! Some will say that it is not much, but you have to remember that it is a challenge that requires no equipment, very little time per day and that gives results over a short period of time!
Don’t be surprised either if you don’t see a big difference on the pictures. With an extra 2 cm, your butt aren’t going to look huge either, but I can assure that they get stronger and you feel it! It’s nice to be proud and feeling confident after that.

My opinion

I’m very happy with these results, I didn’t think it would work on me as I have a very flat butt. Going on for several months, the result must be stunning! Will I continue? I don’t think so, juste because the butt is not my main objective and I never felt the need to work on it.
If you have any questions about this challenge, don’t hesitate to ask me in the comments, I will help you the best I can!
In fact, I’m thinking of starting a new fitness journey to work on the part of my body that I would really like to work on: the abs! If you have any abs challenges that you would like me to test, please share them in the comments! Also tell me what you think of this challenge and if you would like to do it?
